We have been using it as an instant messenger app for a while. Flock was the first messenger app we used after the intranet messenger fail to meet our expectations. It's given our company flexibility in terms of cloud-based file transfer and storage, cloud messaging and multiple device access to messages.

Great to Use
Flock was used as a communication channel to share information over texts & calls. Did not find any problems in usage and found it very convenient to use. A great platform to communicate with anyone within the organization rather than sending emails every time. Can initiate a chat instantly to ask & pass any messages.
- Sharing Images, pdf, etc in an instant.
- Creating groups within the organization for selected people and sharing needed information.
- Tag people with particular information with proper intimation to higher management.
- Casual yet professional platform.
- Integrating with other platforms can help users to get a one-stop place to manage all activities.
- Has made work easy and simple.

A great alternative to the big players in the market
Flock is basically the lifeblood of our firm. We use it daily for communication, calendaring, notes and anything else you can think of. We are a 2 person firm and we are never usually in the office together so it solves the communication problem perfectly. I can't imagine how we organized our notes pre-Flock.
- Real-time communication is perfect.
- The mobile apps really let us take everything on the go.
- It integrates perfectly with our calendar.
- Search functionality is great but could always be improved.
- Maybe some more UI configurations. Allow the end-user to customize more. Color coding always helps.
- Improve to-do apps. It's somewhat convoluted to use.

- Organizing notes manually has been drastically reduced. Flock folders and chats are perfect for keeping each file separate.
- We have not missed one calendar event with Flocks integration of our Google Calendar.
- Being able to cut out or $99/month case management software has saved a ton of money each month.
Flock as mentioned takes the best of all these apps and improves upon them. Flock's UI was exactly what we were looking for and Flock doesn't overcharge small teams for search functional or messaging. It just offers a great product at a great price combined with great support. Their chat ticket system works almost immediately.

Birds of a feather do Flock together
I was using Flock heavily for a while. It's free plan covered a lot of the requirements my decentralized booking team needed. We ended up moving to another platform to better address our needs, however I still do recommend Flock for its use and features. The best feature is its collaborative nature and streamlined communication process.
- The ability to start a direct group conversation or individual-to-individual conversation helped us sort through creative problem-solving.
- Sharing files such as photos from job sites or costume ideas helped us with creative brainstorming.
- The integration with Google Drive and Dropbox also allowed us to streamline our conversations about creative solutions.
- A tool is only good if people use it. Some of the artists I work with found it too complex (though I don't think they really gave it a good shot).
- We used it heavily for about six months and it didn't hit too many other big negative points.

- It did provide a creative space for conversation and this does equal a great return on investment, considering the investment is free for the base use.
- For the team members who enjoyed using it, it helped them save time in their day by having a repository for notes and creative ideas.
Our creative team collaboration pathway story went like this..We started on Facebook as a secret group. We looked for better solutions and moved to Google Docs. It was a bit too robust for smaller conversations, so we moved to flock. Flock was great but proved to be too much for some of our artists, so we moved to NoteJoy. This seemed to be a good resting place for the moment.
